Who are ya?

I like this post by Darragh a lot.

I probably have much the same readership (only smaller) as Darragh so I'm not sure if there's any point asking people to do the same thing here, unless they really want to. But do go to Darragh's page and add your little bit if you haven't already.

The fecker doesn't actually have a blogroll so this is the best way to earn yourself a few hits through his page.

He's always helping to plug other people's blogs.

I think the post is a great idea.

Jaysis B, you're fast! i think you got that comment in befoere I'd even clicked 'publish'.

It IS a great idea, I was only messing about him not having a blogroll. talking of which, I've just remembered I've been meaning to add you to mine for months now. It'll be fixed in a moment.

had a look, i didn't find it the sort of thing that would entice me to read new blogs. but then i don't like blogrolls either.

i'm such a curmudgeon.

Rosie, you're not a curmudgeon, just a heinous bitch. Nah, fair enough if it doesn't do much for you but at least it's a way of people getting their URL out there and saying briefly what they're about (which isn't easy to do).
by the way, why don't you like blogrolls? I can see why some people choose not to have them on their page but to say you don't like them suggests you think there is something wrong with the idea. It's how I discover lots of blogs.

andrew: what?! I wasn't on your blogroll? Do you not know who I am? That deserves the death penalty!

rosie: I think it'd be a nice way of archiving a large amount of blogs in one place... like a community thing or whatever.

i've just posted about it, Andy, and even quoted you in the title.

I quite like the support he gives new bloggers, in leaving comments (long ones!) rather than just adding you to his blogroll...

My name is Darragh
I unwittingly cause trouble and debate by attempting to blog on http://thisiswhatido.org
I blog about people, events, passions, life and what I like to do.

I like blogs. I like their stories. I like getting to know someone more through them, as I like trying new ways to communicate and get my thoughts across. I like the reaction.

I also like you and your blog Andrew. Yes I do. :o)

Cheers Darragh. I don't think it's a debate that either you or I intended on starting up but it's becoming an interesting one. Which is great.
